GPGDragon (often called GPG Dragon) is a legacy Windows utility used by mobile repair technicians to service older feature phones. When paired with the GPG Dragon Box hardware, it communicates over USB/COM ports to support a broad range of legacy devices, commonly those based on Spreadtrum (SPD) and MediaTek (MTK) chipsets. Typical functions include flashing firmware, reading and writing memory, backing up and restoring NVRAM, formatting user data, and recovering devices that fail to boot. The software provides port detection, boot selection, and detailed logs to assist with troubleshooting. GPGDragon is intended for professional repair environments and offers limited compatibility with modern smartphones.
